Garden City Presbyterian Church
"Serving our community since 1832"

Greetings in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ!

The history of Garden City Presbyterian Church dates back to 1832, when the Presbytery of Detroit chartered a Presbyterian congregation to be organized in the East Nankin Township. Eventually, the congregation became known by its current name, and settled in its current location on Middlebelt Road in what is now Garden City.

Garden City Presbyterian Church is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.),the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States. Our denomination was founded in 1983 with the reunion of the United Presbyterian Church in the United States of America (the "northern" church) and the Presbyterian Church in the United States (the "southern" church), a split which had dated back to the Civil War.

You are warmly invited, whoever you are, to come and worship with us. We also invite you to join us for any of our groups and activities.

If you wish more information about our congregation, please send an e-mail to the church office. While you're at it, simply drop us a note to let us know you stopped by.

Above all, welcome to our family!
